ELOHIM – REVERED ONE
JAHVE – ABSOLUTE IN EXISTENCE
Israel’s covenant contrasted with the new covenant:

2. Instruction and rebuke from God to His people (7-23).
a. Religious formalism with no heart devotion (7-15).

b. Religious instruction with no heart obedience (16-21).

3. A call to repentance and salvation (22-23).
