Psalm 100 – Thankgiving

Introduction:  This psalm is the only one in the Psalter that has the title “A Song of Praise.”  It is certainly one of the great Psalms of thanksgiving throughout the Psalter.  We would do well to meditate on it this week as we prepare our hearts for Thanksgiving Day this coming week.

The commentator Matthew Henry has said, “Knowledge is the mother of devotion, and of all obedience; blind sacrifices will never please a seeing God.”
