Psalm 32 – True Blessing

Introduction: “A Psalm of David giving instruction. The Psalmist describes the blessings of his forgiveness, succeeding the pains of conviction, and deduces from his own experience instruction and exhortation to others” (J.F.B.).

This is the second of the “penitential psalms” – Psalm 6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130, and 143.

1. An account of true blessing (vs.1-2).

3.  An acquiring of true blessing (vs. 5-6).

4.  An analysis of true blessing (vs.7).

5.  An admonition for true blessing (vs.8-11).
